A must among them is Allalin, which boasts three world records - the highest underground funicular, the highest revolving restaurant and the largest ice grotto. Or why not take the whole family to feed the tame marmots around the Spielboden mountain station? Also well worth a visit are Lake Kreuzboden - set amid beautiful, rugged mountain scenery - and the stunning panoramic terrace on Hannig mountain, also known as Sonnenberg or "sunny mountain".
The curious and the nature lovers among you are also bound to love our themed walk: "The 18 4,000 m peaks of the Saas valley". The 1.4 km circular route starts in Hohsaas and offers walkers stunning views of the valley's 18 giants, as well as illustrated information panels to learn more about them. Another easy, but equally beautiful walk takes you around Mattmark Reservoir.
